About Museum Studio

\n

Museum Studio brings together international teams to create museums, exhibitions and cultural experiences, from initial strategy and storytelling through design, production and installation.

\n

\n

We are looking for a high-calibre, hands-on Business Developer to support our development in the United States. Based in New York and working closely with our Deputy CEO, our existing US entities and our Paris team, you will combine client-facing responsibilities, business development, project follow-up and the preparation of high-quality strategic and commercial materials. This is an operational role for someone intellectually strong, highly organised, and comfortable moving quickly from analysis to execution.

\n

\n

What you’ll do

\n

\n
    \n
  • Work closely with the Deputy CEO, providing day-to-day support on strategic and commercial priorities, preparing meetings and briefs, and following up on decisions, actions and deadlines.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with Museum Studio’s existing entities in the United States, facilitating information sharing and identifying cross-selling opportunities and synergies between teams.
  • \n
  • Act as the local point of contact for clients and prospects in New York and the US, attend meetings, and ensure consistent follow-up.
  • \n
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, credentials, pitches, and commercial materials, adapting our message to each opportunity and audience.
  • \n
  • Work closely with the Paris team to prepare meetings, coordinate actions, and ensure systematic follow-up on opportunities and client requests.
  • \n
  • Turn client conversations into clear next steps, action plans, and deliverables, ensuring that commitments are followed through.
  • \n
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals, RFP responses and pitches, gathering input from our creative, project, technical and commercial teams.
  • \n
  • Research prospective clients, upcoming museum and cultural projects, decision-makers, partners and market opportunities with a strong focus on actionable intelligence rather than desk research.
  • \n
  • Maintain a clear pipeline of opportunities, priorities, deadlines and next actions, providing regular updates to the Deputy CEO and the Paris team.
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain relationships with museums, cultural institutions, foundations, architects, designers, developers and other key stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Represent Museum Studio at relevant meetings, events and industry gatherings.
  • \n
  • Travel frequently to work with Museum Studio’s teams and visit offices, project sites and clients.
  • \n
\n

\n

We are looking for someone bright, intellectually curious, rigorous, and highly operational . You should be equally comfortable analysing a complex subject, building a compelling PowerPoint presentation, presenting it to a client and making sure every action is followed up afterwards.

\n

\n

You will bring:

\n

\n
    \n
  • Excellent intellectual and analytical capabilities, with the ability to quickly understand complex projects and client environments.
  • \n
  • Confidence in client-facing situations and the ability to present clearly and professionally.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a consistent approach to following tasks through to completion.
  • \n
  • The ability to take initiative while maintaining close coordination with the Deputy CEO, US colleagues and the Paris team.
  • \n
  • Discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive information and supporting senior leadership.
  • \n
  • Research prospective clients, upcoming museum and cultural projects, decision-makers, partners and market opportunities with a strong focus on actionable intelligence rather than desk research.
  • \n
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals, RFP responses and pitches, gathering input from our creative, project, technical and commercial teams.
  • \n
  • Maintain a clear pipeline of opportunities, priorities, deadlines and next actions and provide regular reporting to Paris.
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain relationships with museums, cultural institutions, foundations, architects, designers, developers and other key stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Represent Museum Studio at relevant meetings, events and industry gatherings.
  • \n
  • Excellent spoken and written English. French is a plus but not essential.
  • \n
\n
