I’ve worked as a consultant with charities and funders since 2010. I’ve also run projects within charities. I understand how precious your time is, and how monitoring and evaluation can sometimes expand, seemingly endlessly.
How do we decide what’s ‘good enough’ – for credibility, for hard decisions, for participants, trustees, funders and others? And how to judge what’s reasonable – versus an unnecessary burden – on staff, volunteers and service users? These are human as well as technical questions.
I use my experience and sector understanding to help you to make these decisions, creating monitoring evaluation and learning processes that balance everyone’s needs. I have a keen appreciation of the challenges faced at delivery as well as management levels, so I bring patience, warmth and humour to all aspects of the work.
That way, we can build you and your colleagues’ confidence and skills as we go along. My goal is for you not to need me any more, once we’re done.
Because who doesn’t want to feel great about what they do – not just from their experience, but from their own data? You can find out more about my work on Linked In, and by roaming around this site.
I also support people who want to stay well while they change the world, or who are done with feeling overwhelmed. If you’re interested in this side of my work, please head on over to movementforchange.co.uk.
